Our Story

Imagine if wealth in this country was equally distributed by race. Imagine if financial capital were more evenly distributed and black Americans enjoyed the same business ownership and success rates as others. And finally, imagine if everyone was given a chance to succeed and your community was not ranked the #1 worst place for Black Americans to live due to social and economic disparities. Economic disparities impact everyone. To build generational wealth as a whole, economic involvement must be made possible for everyone; people of color, entrepreneurs, consumers, workers- everyone. Our goal is to impact lives and build vibrant and healthy communities where they are needed most, and this will be done through the formation of Bank of Jabez (proposed).

We know what we are capable of, and have direct knowledge of the communities, systems, and problems we want to address. This is not an emotional preference on our part. By living the experiences, rather than an outsider's assumptions, we have a deeper sense of urgency. We are best equipped to design products and services that meet the needs of the community to bridge the financial and cultural divide that have kept low and moderate income people of color on the sidelines of the economy. Addressing the needs of the community is going to be a lot of work, and there’s no way we can do it alone. Please donate and help us in elevating economic opportunity for all.
